October 2011: After two years of rehearsals in the Al Jaheeli Theatre - Abu Dhabi Officers Club - the UAE Philharmonic has now moved it's Abu Dhabi base to the newly built "Brighton College Abu Dhabi". In the brand new auditorium the orchestra has found an ideal environment to rehearse effectlvely. The school is also supporting the orchestra by making various instruments available for rehearsals which simplifies transport for the orchestra considerable.

UAE Philharmonic now with regular rehearsals in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai After rehearsing at the Abu Dhabi Officers Club AFOC since February 2010 the UAE Philharmonic has now set up a second base at the German International School Dubai. Both the AFOC and the German School Dubai have been extremely supportive to enable the orchestra a more national presence and make the opportunity available for musicians in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai to rehearse regularly. This is an important step for the UAEPO as a resident and permanent orchestra to further build orchestral education in the UAE. In addition the UAEPO have also started an educational effort together with the German International School Dubai where music lessons under the umbrella of the UAEPO are now offered regularly.

UAEPO receives regular recognition by print and electronic media.
The UAE Philharmonic is more and more recgnized around the world by various media institutions as a leading ambassador for cultural development in the UAE. Amongst the local print publications in the UAE there are several others like the German "Dubai Magazin", the Sueddeutsche Zeitung and others who regularly report about the UAEPO. Most recently there was a whole chapter dedicated to the UAEPO in a book published by the "Sueddeutsche Zeitung" in German.
